A native of St. Tammy Parish and a lifelong Saints fan, Principal Lester earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA.  She received her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. She received her Supervision Certification and doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Louisiana State University Shreveport.  Mrs. Lester's academic pursuits coupled with her 28 years of experience has prepared her to lead an environment conducive to learning. She loves collaborating with the teachers to meet the needs of the wonderful students at Claiborne Magnet. She enjoys working with parents, community leaders, and all the Claiborne Cardinals which helps move Claiborne forward.
