First Grade Staff
Mrs. Erica Jackson, 1st Grade
Erica Jackson earned her B.A. in Sociology from Dillard University in New Orleans and teacher certification in grades 1-6 from LSU-S. She began teaching in 2000. Ms. Jackson currently all subjects to first graders. She has served on school fundraising committees, chartered a Jr Achievement program and taught in various areas at the elementary school level. She enjoys reading, drama and plays, photography and spending family time with her two sons Jaylon and Marcus.
Mrs. S. Neumann, 1st Grade
Mrs. Neumann earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas in 1999. She began teaching in 2000 at LISD and has been at Claiborne Fundamental Magnet since 2003 when she moved back to Louisiana. She currently teaches all content areas to first graders. Additionally, she has certification in English/Language Arts for 6-8 grades and ESL. Caddo Parish Schools has determined she meets the definition of “highly qualified” according to the NCLB. Mrs. Neumann has served on the School Improvement, Box Tops, and Support Personnel Week committees. She has received a grant from Alliance for Education to buy books with audio.
