Married with two handsome sons, Mrs.  Sabrina Sumlin earned a B.A. from Wiley College and LSU-Shreveport in Elementary Education.  She began her career in teaching in 2008.  “Wanting Greatness for Our Children”, she embodies and embraces the new standards of education by implementing a proactive approach to teaching.  A passionate educator, she desires to produce life learners, independent workers, and higher-order thinkers.  She is proud and honored to be a part of Claiborne Fundamental Magnet Elementary A+ School Family.  Currently she teaches 5th grade ELA.

Mr. Jones is a product of Caddo Parish Schools, graduating from Huntington High School. He went on to earn a BA in Biology and a Masters of Arts in teaching from Louisiana Tech University. Mr. Jones also earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from LSUS and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Xavier University of Louisiana. He has taught 6-9th grade science in Caddo Parish and in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, fishing, and cheering on the Steelers and Lebron James with his wife.
